Application Data
To pay our artists we track all instances of a piece of music played and report this back to apportion royalties. Your personal information is never shared with anyone outside Melody Pods administration. Artists will get a portion of the royalties depending on how many times their music is played for the subscription that is earnt from a customer per month. Artists are not presented with users or user information at any time. This is in accordance with UK data protection laws.
Additionally we gain feed back to our central server data on tracks that are un-ticked for play as well as ‘thumbs down’ selections in addition to direct feedback comments and options so that we may learn from user’s collective opinions of the music supplied within collections. This enables us to identify tracks which are not as successful as we would like them to be and so be able to investigate the tracks for reasons.
None of our usage data is sold to any third party or is used to identify specific clients unless the client specifically sends a support ticket to us to give us direct feedback.
If you have any questions or need any clarification on our privacy policy and data management please contact us at our helpdesk.
