The Melody Pods app will then automatically start to download your music. You will see the message below appear if your user name and password have been entered correctly. Please be patient with the download as it takes some time to check to see if it needs to sync any tracks already in the Melody Pods app. The first time the app syncs it will take some time to download because of the larger amount of music. Our regular updates replenish this collection and so take less time to download.

Press ‘save’ to save your own playlist of tracks. If you untick any tracks to make a rotation of part of your downloaded music you can save this collection as a new playlist that you can edit again in the future. Please note these personal playlists will only play if the music is still downloaded. If you unsubscribe or update your music and omit tracks they will be removed from the playlists.

Now click the Playlist button at top left to choose a playlist to play and switch between the playlists by album, genre and favourites and any playlists you have personally saved.

Whilst your music is playing you can now go back to the browse window to look at other tracks and create other playlists for later without interupting the music being played. If you click on any track the track will begin to play. If you change the playlist choice, the player will fade out and fade in with the new playlist.

All personal playlists can be updated and resaved from the browse window or deleted from the Playlist window (press and hold the personal playlist). the Album/Genre/Favourites playlists will not delete.

If you remove (untick) tracks from the playing rotation you can save this as a playlist. Additionally you can save your favourites. This is a great way to create playlists for different times of the day, or for specific clients you know prefer certain styles of music.

Connecting Your Player To A Sound System.

To play your music using an external sound system you will need a connection to an amplifier and speakers. You can use either the 1/4 inch jack (headphones out) or bluetooth.

If you have a bluetooth connected speaker system you can enable your music to be transmitted to that device by piaring your device to a sound system. Settings will vary between different devices.

Once paired, the music will play on your bluetooth sound system. Your phone may have options for retaining call related audio on your phone rather than also transmitting them as well (such as ring tone).

Alternatively, you can switch off your mobile network connection whilst you are using your device to play music in your business.
